Michael Jackson's £15,000 14-Carat Gold Plated:Last Show "The Greatest Show On Earth"

Up to a MILLION people are expected to make the pilgrimage to the Staples Center arena in Los Angeles on Tuesday - with 750 million more watching on TV.

Jacko's family yesterday confirmed his send-off will feature performances and tributes from a galaxy of music legends.Giant screens will be set up outside the vast 20,000-seater stadium - home of the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team - for mourners who cannot get in.President Barack Obama was last night believed to have been sent an invitation.Jacko will be buried in a rare £15,000 14-carat gold plated casket, according to US reports. The custom-made solid bronze coffin - called a Promethean - has been ordered from the Batesville Casket Company, celebrity news website TMZ claims.

Fit for a King ... this Promethean coffin has been ordered for Jacko reports say

It is the same type of casket used to bury legendary singer James Brown in December 2006.Jacko attended Brown's funeral and kissed The Godfather of Soul's head while he lay in his coffin."I'm sure Michael will be looking down with a smile and love the insanity of a funeral surrounded by tigers and spectacular performing animals."

The circus famously bills itself "The Greatest Show On Earth" - ironically the very words Jacko used when asked what he thought his funeral would be like.

He said in 2002: "It's going to be the greatest show on earth.

"That's what I want. Fireworks and everything."
